GOOD STUFF
Good Stuff, a 501(c)3, was founded in 2017 and the primary focus areas are increasing access for creative and agricultural/culinary entrepreneurship.
As per the bylaws, the specific purposes of Good Stuff shall be as follows:
to support emerging arts and agricultural initiatives within our local Winston-Salem community as well as communities across and outside of North Carolina
to facilitate positive change
actively connect mission aligned organizations or initiatives
engage the community with public programs through food, health, environment, arts and culture
to provide to provide selected charitable groups (or “carefully vetted”) groups, projects or donor collaborations a tax-exempt home in order to enable these entities to focus on mission-related activities such as research and development, programming and fundraising
Good Stuff’s primary programs in North Carolina include Cobblestone Farmers Market, Beta Verde Kitchen and the development of 1001 & 1007 S. Marshall Street in Winston-Salem. Through its agricultural lens, Good Stuff is dedicated to significantly increasing equitable access to local, sustainably grown food and growing our regional food economy by creating and nurturing diverse, thriving marketplaces and kitchens.
For its work in Maryland, Good Stuff is registered as Good Stuff of North Carolina. Work in MD includes the 411 Kitchen and MERGE at The Packing House in Cambridge, MD in the areas of culinary, aquaculture and grass roots arts initiatives that stimulate community connections and economic growth
