How to be a CFM vendor

Cobblestone Farmers Market, located in Winston-Salem, NC, is a fully vetted, sustainable, producer-only farmers market offering customers the guarantee that all vendors meet the sustainable, naturally-grown and humane practices required by the market. Most beef, lamb and pork products are certified Animal Welfare Approved, which has the most rigorous standards for animal welfare in the U.S. Humane, safe and healthy farming and food preparation are at at the center of the vendor review process. For value added products, local and sustainably produced ingredients are strongly preferred, and where possible, ingredients should be grown by the vendor (e.g. pickles, jams, etc., but not necessarily baked goods).

Thank you for your interest in Cobblestone! If you would like to apply to be a vendor, please review our 2020 Market Guidelines and check back in December to read and complete the New Vendor Application. Please note, we do have a waiting list for some areas of production which includes baked goods, beverages and ferments as well as some vegetable production. We like to know who is producing what and encourage applications particularly for those producing fruit or specialty crops and products.

Once you have reviewed the 2020 Market Guidelines and submitted the online Vendor Application (or printed and completed the hard copy), please mail the application fee to the address listed on the application.

New Vendor Applications and deadlines for 2020 will be shared in December 2019. After the initial application period, submissions will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Thank you for your patience as we review returning vendor applications while also attending to daily market business. During the rolling application period for new vendors, we strive to connect with applicants within 2-4 weeks of their submission.

Community Booth

The Cobblestone Farmers Market has established a community booth to broaden the reach and awareness of food/beverage production and environmentally focused small businesses and organizations in the area. The Community Booth offers customers the opportunity to get to know a wide range of great businesses or initiatives (such as food/beverage producers, authors, riverkeepers or specialty growers) which due to space limitations would not be able to be a regular vendor. We are always interested to learn about what is NEW out there and sharing it with our ever curious, interested customers and vendors! If you are interested in tabling in our Community Booth, please follow the directions outlined above for new vendors.

*All potential new vendors, including Community Booth vendors, must fill out and submit our Vendor Application (coming December 2019) and application fee to be considered.
