Driving the Local Food Ecosystem
Wasn't it fun to have a market breakfast last weekend? What should we do next?
We love being a driving component of the LOCAL FOOD MOVEMENT, the ECOSYSTEM that is all about supporting the production of the best food bringing together incredible makers of every kind and making food accessible so we can truly grow our economy and JOBS through agriculture, viticulture, fungiculture, horticulture, cheese making and animal husbandry…just for starters!
Our ECOSYSTEM in Winston-Salem is made up of lots of initiatives and businesses such as small food/health stores, bakeries, markets, farm stores, CSAs, etc. that truly support the growers/producers (not resale of wholesale), breaking down barriers such as access to shared kitchens for value add producers or small caterers to get their businesses accelerating. Currently in Winston-Salem, we do not have one "‘be all end all' store or facility so we need everyone to make a bigger pie of access and opportunity! The ECOSYSTEM must work together to support the initiatives, support the producers, the makers and endless creativity that miraculously finds it s way to YOU, the customer, the collaborator!
Thanks for being part of the ECOSYSTEM at Cobblestone Farmers Market! We aim to be your year round grocer and part of your weekly routine. Please let us know what you love and what you might be missing - we love your feedback! Please check our winter market dates below!
Enjoy the shop this weekend - catch those creasy greens - ooooh yum, with a little bacon…
Cobblestone LOCAL equals 50+ independent Piedmont food businesses in one place!
