Holiday Hoopla Week

NO matter what day of the week the 4th of July falls on, there are ALWAYS meals and we ALWAYS want them to be special, feel like July and home - food memories are some of our most compelling!

Looking at the vendor list, suggested notes would be BLUEBERRIES (several vendors have them), BLACKBERRIES, Cabbage aka SLAW (a must have), the sweetest new bliss potatoes (seriously fresh out of the ground - no need to describe uses for those), 'Maters are in all sizes shapes, colors (pair them with pimento cheese among other varieties), and then there is chopped salad…which we totally think is the best ever - combine all of the veggies, cukes, kholrabi, greens, fennel, carrots, onions, herbs and good olive oil, vinegar, S&P! Getting into the baked goods is serious trouble and ever so much fun - go for it! Toppings - please do not forget FERMENTS! GRILL or slow roast - grab ALL the proteins and ‘shrooms! Last but not least - BLOOMS are boomin' at the market - your flower destination!

THIS WEEKEND Family Fun, Kaleideum Peppercorn Theatre will be on hand to PREVIEW their Pop Up Preview coming to market on July 6th - enjoy meeting these talented artists!

Also, please mark your calendar for the midweek market (Wednesday, July 3) to pick up any last minute needs for the Fourth of July festivities!
