Lettuce and leafy green season is upon us folks! Did you know that salad greens, kale and spinach are rich in vitamins A, C, E and K? And that broccoli, bok choy and swiss chard are also rich in many of the B-vitamins? These vegetables also contain an abundance of antioxidants. Perhaps it's time to shift the age old saying to: A salad a day keeps the doctor away! Apple season is well in our rearview mirror...SO, lettuce eat MORE GREENS!
