Enter Bess Broughton, high school senior with a mission to raise funds as part of her school's homecoming program. With cell phone in hand and a Venmo account, this beautiful human raised dollars for Cobblestone's food access program. Bess's surprise gift to the market was enough to cover the costs of our latest market merch from which 100% of the proceeds go to our Food Access program. The weekly match to the young families and folks in transition means fresher, more nutritious food for those on assistance. As you all may have seen the pepper and green bean game is STRONG at market this time of year and we are loving trying to find ways to incorporate them into our meals each week!
