What is a RAMP? Allium tricoccum is a North American species of a wild onion found in eastern US and Canada. A ramp tastes stronger than a leek, which generally has a mild onion flavor, and are more pungently garlicky than a scallion. Why do people go crazy over them? It's because ramp season is short, and hence quantities are limited and are typically foraged. Sustainably foraged ramps will not have the full bulb and root on them in order to preserve the patch for increased growth the following year. SO snag these gems while you can…only two more weeks is what we hear!

We know lines get crazy and the gettin' is GOOD. Just be sure your line is not interfering with another booth and your neighbor is getting the same opportunity as you are.
Come prepared with a rain jacket, shopping totes, coolers (even just to keep in the car), and small bills. However, most vendors do take a card!
Be respectful of the produce.
Talk to the farmers and staff. Our community is everything - experiencing and learning together is important to us all!
Show a farmer how you used their produce/product. They love that stuff!
PET ETIQUETTE
CFM welcomes well behaved dogs within the market space, as long as owners and dogs adhere to the following market guidelines for pets:
Dogs on SHORT leashes are allowed at the market.
Please be mindful of your pet’s demeanor and behavior in large crowds when deciding whether or not to bring your furry friend.
Pets MUST use the restroom OUTSIDE of the market area! Please do dispose of waste appropriately.
Dogs are allowed due to the fact that the market is on private property; however, in order to be compliant with current health department regulations, animals are not allowed inside of a vendor booth.
