Thank you for a successful 'market' day last Saturday - let's do it again!

Thank you for a successful 'market' day last Saturday - let's do it again!

The key to getting what you need each week safely and efficiently is pre-ordering from producers (information on how to do this with each producer is listed below in Vendor Lineup and on the website), coming to the market space with patience and remaining at least 6' apart from other humans. The full list of safety precautions we are taking at market is listed below.

All market activity for now will happen at 1001 S Marshall Street.
Please stay up-to-date via Facebook or Instagram.

Stay tuned to all of our information outlets for news about next week's increased market options as more vendors come on and pick-up options increase.

PLEASE take a minute to give us your feedback in this quick survey so that we are able to make a more knowledgeable decision to efficiently and safely get fresh food to the community.

Thanks to all of you who are making daily life continue with much grace and thought. Cobblestone and Beta Verde have always been serious about helping others,
we are not stopping now.
Stay safe, stay healthy.

Cobblestone LOCAL is independent Piedmont food/farm businesses in one place.

NEW MARKET PROTOCOL

Do Not Touch.png

Thank you all for staying up to date on our new market protocols and keeping market safe and clean for all during this time. The market is limiting close proximity between vendor/product and customer by:

Operating outdoors to an open-air market with significant distance between booths.
_

Limiting market volume by extending market hours.

_

Promoting pre-ordering, alternate pick-up locations and home deliveries with individual vendors.
_

Providing Seniors (65 +) and High-Risk Customer Shopping Time between 8:30-9:00am
_

Creating one-way traffic routes throughout market to keep customers flowing and walking in the same direction without congestion.
_

Setting up cones so folks stop in front of the cone, 6' away from vendor tent while the customer ahead of them finishes their transaction.
_

Asking customers to self space in lines and to keep conversations/interactions at a 6' distance.
_

Asking vendors to practice increased hand hygiene, use of gloves when handling money and packaging items for customers, and leaving items on tables for pick-up.
_

Adding a buffer table in front of vendors for their safety and ensuring customers DO NOT cross/reach over product.
_

No Dogs.png

Rounding prices to the nearest dollar to remove usage of coins.
_

Regularly sanitizing high touch areas within the market area.
_

Using non-porous tablecloths.
_

Pets will NOT be permitted in the Market (until further notice).
-

Please look out for informational signage around Market and say hello to your friends from a 6' distance!

Stop by to see us at the Information Booth if you have any questions.

Check in with the vendors as they are making huge headway with compostable packaging that can go right in the compost bin with food scraps.
